REGULARLY SCHEDULED EVENTS

• COMPANY MEETING - The general meeting of the Norriton Fire Engine Company is held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.

• COMPANY TRAINING - The weekly training session is held on Monday nights at 7:00 p.m.

• ENGINEERS - Sunday mornings our engineering staff meets to perform maintenance on the equipment.  All members are invited to stop by and lend a hand.

• TRUSTEES MEETING - The Board of Trustees meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

NFEC HAPPENINGS 

• NFEC Children's Easter Egg Hunt - March 22, 2008

  • For children and grandchildren of members.

  • Held at station A, rain or shine, at 1:00 p.m.

  • If you plan on attending, but did not sign the list that was at the stations, please contact Dave Ellick, Sr. as soon as possible with the name and age of each child.

  • Hosted by the George Clay Fire Company

  • In the hall at the George Clay firehouse (upstairs), 426 Ford St., West Conshohocken

  • 7:00 pm - midnight

  • Cost:  Adults $7, Children (4-12) $4, Children (3 and under) free with paying adult, Seniors (55 +) $6..

  • Great Food!  Pictures with the Easter Bunny for $3 each, and chances selling for an Easter basket.

  • Hosted by the George Clay Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary

  • In the hall at the George Clay firehouse (upstairs), 426 Ford St., West Conshohocken

  • 7:00 am - 12:00 pm (Last seating at 11:45 am)

  • Cost:  $20 per person.

  • Great Food!  Beer and soda provided.  BYOB

  • Advanced purchase of tickets suggested.  Tickets may be available at the door, if not sold out prior.

• East Norriton Township Annual Easter Egg Hunt. - March 21, 2008

  • Friday, March 21st (raindate: Saturday, March 22nd.)

  • Held at the Stanbridge Street Park (behind the Township Bldg) at the pavilion.

  • For children of East Norriton township ages 3-8 years old.

  • Times:

    • Ages 3-4 - 10:00 am

    • Ages 5-6 - 10:15 am

    • Ages 7-8 - 10:30 am

  • Bring the kids out for this fun event and meet the Easter Bunny in person.  All participants should report to the pavilion five minutes prior to the starting time for their age group.  This event is for the children only.  Parents are requested to remain behind the starting line during the event.

• 23rd Annual Montgomery County Senior Olympics - May 12-16, 2008

  • For all Montgomery County residents 50 years and over (7 separate age groups)

  • Held at the Montgomery County Community College and other facilities in the area.

  • Events include: golf, tennis, horseshoes, bowling, swimming, shuffleboard, billiards, softball throw, stationary bicycle, basketball hot shot, running events, walking 1.5 mile, table tennis, and darts.
